Greetings to all the newcomers of the Halls!

We know the tight-knit community here can be a bit daunting to start off in. That's why we've created this forum, so that the people just starting out can start a new thread to introduce themselves, hopefully meet some of the regulars, and get more comfortable with the surroundings.

It also serves as a place to learn about the features, rules, and customs of the Halls so that you won't be wandering the streets dazed and confused. Well...at least not any more dazed and confused than the rest of us.

A couple of important links:

The Rules of the Halls - The current version of the rules, available in Halls WIki. Tells you what not to do, and what happens if you do it anyway.

Our History - Right now, this is just a Reader's Digest version of our storied past, leaving out all the fun, semi-fictional stuff that's happened. But that'll get written up later.

Also in this very forum are a few threads detailing how to change your avatar, what the different groups here mean, and other useful info, so check those out too. I'll be adding and updating these as we add new features or change stuff, so if you ever get lost again, just come back here to get your bearings.
