I didn't vote for either of these songs last round but it's an easy decision for me this round because I've voted for Enter Sandman a whole lot more than I have for Comfortably Numb. Enter Sandman for the win.

I recognize that Pink Floyd is probably more influential to rock history, but "Enter Sandman" is one of my favorite songs. It gets my vote.

I'm going with Comfortably Numb. I just like it a little more than Enter Sandman. Not that I dislike Enter Sandman, but I prefer Comfortably Numb.

I'm a Floyd fan from way back. Metallica, not so much.

IMHO Floyd is a better band, with better musicians, and better songs. Plus my metal head friends all say Metallica sold out and went pop, so how can a good anti-establishment guy like me support them?

Wow...I am just slow. I just realized that Bring Me to Life and Comfortably Numb had a tiebreaker in the last round. Geez, I think for me it is the surprise during the whole competition. I mean I voted for it every round, but I thought maybe you guys were different. I mean you guys like Queen for one thing. But somehow this song that just made me feel good was 20 tiebreaker points or so away from facing off against Sandman. Now I know it would not have beat Sandman...but I would have voted for it again. What a great song. What a great part of the Halls this is.

Oh and C.O. you rock! Although I didn't understand all the math, I am impressed that you had such an indepth and fair tiebreaking system so that there would be no complaints.

Yeah, "Bring Me to Life" certainly seemed to be the dark horse of this whole thing for a while there. It was a fairly low-ranked nomination, but it won the Modern Rock battle, and then of course did really well here.

As for the tie-breakers, thanks. Took a while to figure out a fair system, but I think I've got it now, or at least close enough.
