Have you ever wanted to knock the crap out of your fellow Hallsians? Now's your chance!
The Lunatic Fighting League is a bizarre mixture of Battleground and Heroclix League where only your creativity and the votes of others will determine who wins and who is completely humiliated!
Taking place in the soon-to-be-reconstructed Gilmore Stadium, the Lunatic Fighting League will feature bizarre and dangerous scenarios that will test the mental abilities of the fighters while making the events even more entertaining for the bloodthirsty rabble!
BASIC RULES (First Draft)
While the LFL is no-holds-barred fighting where anything can happen and usually does, there must be structure in which the chaos can take place. These are basic rules that should be followed unless otherwise noted in scenarios or by Slovman.
Essentially, you'll be roleplaying as a fighter, sort of like our wacky comic book events we have around here. You'll "battle" a fellow Hallsian through posting back and forth at each other, and then a poll will open so that everyone can vote on who they thought was the most interesting and entertaining of the two fighters. Whoever comes out ahead in the poll after a certain time wins the fight.
Some rules for the fight itself:
- 10 posts per fighter, per fight.
- Posts must alternate.
- Match ends at 20 posts or 1 week, whichever comes first.
- 1 picture is allowed per fighter, per fight.
After that, how you fight each other is entirely up to your imagination. But I must stress that voters will be encouraged to choose the most creative of the fighters, so if you did nothing but say "I kill you" over and over in a fight, it's doubtful you'll get a single vote, let alone win. There will also be various scenarios and mid-fight events that I will throw at you from time to time, and if you just ignore these things, you'll be running the risk of losing votes.
The Lunatic Fighting League will consist of:
2 Exhibition Matches
10 Regular Season Matches
Playoffs (Probably 3 Rounds)
How fast the season goes will be largely dependent on the fighters, but at maximum, the whole thing may take almost 4 months. So if you think you'll be away from the Halls for a significant amount of time (more than a couple of weeks) in the near future, you might not want to sign up...but you'll still be able to join in the action during the Exhibition Season.
I must also emphasize that some trash-talking and chest-thumping will be allowed, as long as it's in good fun and kept mostly within the confines of Gilmore Stadium. Obviously, the moderators will step in if we feel something has gone too far, but if that's not the case and you throw a tantrum because you're being "picked on," don't expect too much sympathy.
But if you're cool with all that, are a member of the "Hallsian" group, and are ready to kick some ass, please sign up here!
Also, feel free to ask any other questions you might have.
