This looks pretty funny. I'll be checking this out.

I'm sure I'll be buying it to remain comic literate, but I'm not too fond of this idea.

I liked the defenders a lot as a kid - they were one of my favorites. I'm actually trying to build my collection of back issues on this title whenever I get the money.

I guess Marvel doesn't think too highly of them though, between this and the portrayal the Ultimate Defenders got.

I'm just not too big a fan of bringing them back as a mockery.

I agree with Fogs for the most part here. But we'll see.

I just find their interviews entertaining in their own right.

As for the series, it looks like fun to me. I don't particularly mind if it makes the team look a bit foolish or as a "mockery". We all know this isn't going to be viewed as the in-continuity take on Dr. Strange & company anymore than Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog are considered part of the Justice League.
