As you can no doubt see, the look of the Halls has changed!

The functionality of the forums remains pretty much unchanged. The bulk of the redesign goes toward the Main Page, which I hope is more useful and easier to navigate.

Some forums (like Darkhawk Lake and the Comics Forums) will still bear the old look, but will be updated in the next few days.

Easily the biggest new feature, however, is the HallsWiki!

And yes, that's just what it sounds like. The Halls has its own version of Wikipedia to document all of our history, members and badges. Currently, only moderators will be able to edit HallsWiki, but everyone can still register an account there and make suggestions via the Discussion pages.

We've got a LOT of articles in there already, so be sure and check it out!

Finally, one more big announcement. After countless contributions, sacrifices, and battles in defense of the Halls, oogie56 has demonstrated time and again his dedication to the Isle and its citizens. So it is my great honor to promote him to Guardian, effective immediately!

Well that is just awesome. It's something I'd always wanted, but hadn't expected to get. I thank all those who made the choice. I'll do my best not to let anyone down.

I would also ask everyone to check out the HallsWiki as well. While I've not put in as much effort as some, I have put in some time working on it. It's been fun, and I hope that everyone who wasn't around from day one (like me) can find some cool stuff. It'll constantly update, as we know have yet another battle with Lucas to chronicle.

And in regards to the Halls Wiki, we really do encourage you to make comments on the discussion pages; there's a lot of Halls Lore, and so we're bound to forget things now and then. Or screw up and mistype something.

Oh my GAWG! I love the new look.

Wow, nifty. The new look took a little getting used to with the green and blue along the sides (mostly the new addition of blue) but now it's going smoothly. Plus, the dragons under everyone's info is cool as well as Slov, Gelf, Oogie, and the Mrs. at the top of the page. Very nicely done.

Also, the HallsWiki is incredible! I've had some time to explore it and am overwhelmed with the amount of energy and information that was put into it. Definitely everyone should go check it out.

Just checked out the front page now and it's also greatly improved. Much easier to use everything and I like how the links are well organized as well as the nice staging of the Haremette of the month pic.

I saw that the comics district has been updated now and was curious as to who the chick between Shulkie and Blink is.

I think it's supposed to be Catwoman without her mask but it's not a very distinctive picture.

It is Catwoman. And I have always liked that cover. She looks both vulnerable and prepared to beat the holy living hell out of whoever made her feel so vulnerable.

I'd like to change my profile or would like it removed. I really don't like it at all.

How about if we write a real bio for you, and leave the mad lib bio underneath it? I agree that it probably isn't fair that you only have a nonsensical bio, but the mad lib one is a part of Halls history.
