From my understanding Jon-OH, we are basically doing this kind of like boxing. Anyone can get in, you can fight whomever you want, and as you get wins you move up the ranks. There will be some criteria for a shot at the title, though none of us are sure what (I'd guess wins, but that's just me).

And I have an open challenge out. I think I was robbed twice, and I want to get some revenge. Step up, bothces.

Yeah, these preliminary matches were just to declare a title holder. The main season should start up in July or August, I think.

There won't be seasons at all, which is the beauty part. Matches will be set up via challenges.

All I need to figure out is how the rankings will work and how a fighter earns a shot at the title. Once I've done that, I'll open a challenges thread and we can start scheduling fights.

I am trying to decide that, and still hoping someone will come in and break the tie.

I hadn't considered the possibility of ties for some odd reason, so I guess this would be a good time to figure out what we all think is a fair way to break them.

That'd suck but I'm fairly certain that Oogie's already voted. As Slov said, it's a common practice around here to vote for yourself after a fight or FUSUD match (as the case will be). So if nothing else, Soylent, you've gotta vote for yourself to cancel out your opponent's vote.
