I am sure you have heard there is a long over due expansion to WoW. I say "overdue" as I think my hubby put a deposit on it with Game Stop last year thinking he could surprise me for my birthday in November 2007. On the bright side, he may be able to "surprise me" this year LOL.

So, I was reading about the expansion on the WoW site and saw the below:

Unlocking and Creating the Death Knight
Simply have a character of at least level 55 on the World of Warcraft account you play, and you will be able to create a new level-55 death knight of any race (if on a PvP realm, the death knight must be the same faction as your existing character). Upon entering the world, your neophyte death knight will undertake a series of quests designed to teach you your new abilities. You will be able to create one death knight per realm, per account.

I was vaguely disturbed to read this...reason being previously it was announced that you had to have a level 70 to unlock the new character. I worked hard to bring Svuka to 70. I didn't do some of the side things I wanted to such as learn to fish. Part of the reason I pushed to 70 was to be able to take a gander at a Death Knight.

Oh well, I am still pleased to be 70 and have a flying mount! There is so much I still have to do even at 70... the amount of content available to you when you reach that level is amazing. Some of the daily quests are really fun! I love to bomb the Dead Scar LOL
