"Weird Al" Yankovic

"Weird Al" Yankovic is a comedy musician who produces both parodies of famous songs and also his own original works. While his musical subjects are silly -- and often downright ridiculous -- he is a highly talented musician, who often pays tribute to his musical influences in his works.

Weird Al's music is very popular on the Halls, often being played on Halls Radio (more than any other artist). His epic song "Albuquerque" won the 2005 McCrea Award for Best Halls Song. It was beaten in the second round of the Battle of the Comedy & Novelty Songs by eventual winner The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, by Lemon Demon, though Weird Al had two songs of his own in the top four, with Dare to be Stupid taking second place and Amish Paradise taking fourth.
