Amazing Spider-Man No. 50

Amazing Spider-Man No. 50 featured Spider-Man, Peter Parker, turning his back on his costume, with the words "Spider-Man No More!" on it. While this was, of course, not a permanent change, the event and the cover both have been homaged many times, in other comics as well as Amazing Spider-Man itself and the movie Spider-Man 2. The cover took third place in the Battle of the Comics Covers.
