Battle of the Cartoons

For his third Big Battle, Chaomancer Omega chose a subject with wide appeal, and opened it up to the entire Hallsian population for nominations. The Battle of the Cartoons consisted of 128 cartoons, with only one restriction on the nominations: They had to be cartoons that had had significant airplay in English. Anime was allowed, but only if it had been broadcast in English on North American stations.

The eventual winner came as no surprise: Looney Tunes beat out all comers handily, with its closest match being in the finals against Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. Futurama and Batman: The Animated Series rounded out the final four.

The Battle of the Cartoons was the 2006 winner of the Best Battle McCrea Award.
