The Battle of the Comedy & Novelty Songs ran through the month of January, 2007. It featured 32 songs nominated by Hallsians for being examples of quality funny songs. As might be expected, songs by "Weird Al" Yankovic and Lemon Demon dominated the field, with 6 nominated songs and 5, respectively. In fact, it was the Lemon Demon song The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny which won the field, carried in part by its support from Hallsians who felt it should have won Best Halls Song in the 2006 McCrea Awards.
