Battle of the Final Fantasy Characters

Run by Slovman shortly after the Battle of the Video Games, the Battle of the Final Fantasy Characters was a small battle thrown together quickly with two purposes in mind. One purpose was simply to throw the Final Fantasy fans a bone after the games in that series got soundly beaten in the Video Games battle despite being highly nominated. The other purpose was to gradually set up a series of Video Game Character battles to eventually culminate in a large mixed battle.
The final battle ended in a tie between Tifa and Vincent Valentine, both characters from Final Fantasy VII. Tifa was given the victory in a judge's decision. Cecil and Rydia rounded out the top four.
