Battle of the Looney Tunes

The Battle of the Looney Tunes ran from August to September of 2007, and featured 64 Looney Tunes characters vying for the top spot. Chaomancer Omega, the runner of the battle, opted not to take nominations for it, but instead to seed the bracket with as many characters as possible, digging up even the most obscure characters to fill out the field of 64. It was perhaps inevitable that Bugs Bunny would win the battle, but his road to the top was not always certain, with some members of the site having taken a dislike to the character. Bugs's arch-rival Daffy Duck took second place, and up until the last few days of voting, the match between them was extremely close. Marvin the Martian and Yosemite Sam were the semi-finalists.
