Battle of the Songs That Get People Fired Up

The first of Chaomancer Omega's Songs Battles was suggested by Slovman. The core concept was to find out what songs got people "fired up", made them excited, had them feeling "pumped". The discussion in the Battle was as lively as the idea suggested, and in the end, the top song was Gonna Fly Now, the theme from the movie Rocky. It wasn't the only Rocky song to make it in the top four, though, as Survivor's Eye of the Tiger weighed in at #3. Second place went to Queen's We Will Rock You, and Nirvana rounded out the top four with Smells Like Teen Spirit.

3. Eye of the Tiger, by Survivor
4. Smells Like Teen Spirit, by Nirvana.
