Battle of the Themes & Showtunes

Part of the Grand Battle of Songs, the Battle of the Themes & Showtunes was actually split off from the Battle of the Hodgepodge Songs when the clustering of like songs presented an opportunity to do so. The Battle features 16 songs from movies, television shows, and Broadway musicals.

The Battle was started in the last week of January, 2007, and concluded in the last week of February. The winners, from first to fourth were:

1. The Imperial March, by John Williams
2. Ghostbusters, by Ray Parker, Jr.
3. The Raiders March, by John Williams
4. Spider-Man Theme, by Bob Harris and Paul Francis Webster
