Best Indy Title

Not all the love of comics is given to those comics that are considered "mainstream". The McCrea Award for Best Indy Title goes to those titles which are produced by companies other than Marvel or DC Comics, or those comics which are produced under one of the imprints of the "Big Two". The award has been won three years running (2004-2006) by Fables, written by Bill Willingham and produced under DC Comics's Vertigo imprint.
