Best New Hallsian

The Halls is not a fast-growing place, and when new blood comes in, it's a cause for celebration and recognition. The McCrea Award for Best New Hallsian is given to the Hallsian who joined during that year and who has contributed most to the good of the site. During years when there are few new Hallsians, the award is given to a new Hallsian who is preselected by the moderators. If there are several to choose from, the award is put up to a public vote, as with most McCrea Awards.

In 2004, Leeds Knight was given the award by moderator decision. In 2005, Revil Fox won in a public poll. Jonnie Redbeard won in 2006, much to his surprise.
