Best Secondary Character

This McCrea Award celebrates the best comic book character of the year who is not the star of a title. The 2004 award was given to The Calculator for his role in Identity Crisis, and the 2005 award was given to the hilarious Monkey Joe in G.L.A.

In 2006, the award was given to Detective Chimp, but through the joking of Jack Turnpike and Rock Gladstone's ensuing confusion, Rock wound up walking away with the award.
