Brian Michael Bendis
From HallsWiki
The Hallsians have a love-hate relationship with the writings of Brian Michael Bendis. Gelf13 loves it, while Chaomancer Omega, Thor665, and Fogs hate it. Bendis is known for writing dialogue that is repetitive, and for writing in a heavily "decompressed" storytelling fashion. He was the writer on Secret War, which would win the Bermuda Triangle Special Achievement Award at the 2005 McCrea Award ceremony, as well as a run on Avengers that was mocked by Thor665 in Avengers Disassembled Disassembled. He also wrote the major Marvel event for 2005, House of M, which had ramifications throughout the Marvel universe.
Regardless of the feelings of a handful of Hallsians, Bendis remains highly successful, and is one of Marvel's "go-to" writers.
