More widely known for their presence in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, chao have taken on a slightly different role at the Halls of Hysteria, thanks in large part to Hurricane's Chao Masters Thread. Basically mindless, swarming creatures not unlike locusts, the Halls Isle breed of chao usually instill fear and revulsion in the citizens. But even weird-looking blue and yellow dogs have their day, and the chao take center stage every August 10th, the anniversary of the Chao Masters Thread.
They also taste great with dipping sauces.
Inexplicably, a Chao was drafted by the Margarine Valley Buttercups to fight in the first season of the FUSUD. This decision has not yet been replicated in the second season.
