EMH Mark 1

With the need for medical care rising and with no Hallsians capable of practicing medicine on a regular basis if at all, Slovman does what he always does when Halls Isle urgently requires something...he steals it from another universe. In this case, the Star Trek universe.

The Emergency Medical Hologram, or EMH, is just that, a holographic projection designed by Starfleet to take over for an incapacitated or deceased "real" doctor. The EMH Mark 1 version of this line was largely deemed a failure, except for a single copy of the program who had the unlikely fortune to be flung to the other side of the galaxy aboard the USS Voyager. Required to stay on as their full-time Chief Medical Officer, this Mark 1 far exceeded his original programming, not only making astonishing breakthroughs in the field of medicine, but also venturing into more creative, recreational, and sociologically relevant fields.

The EMH Mark 1 of Halls Isle, however, is not the Voyager version. He is blunt, self-important, and utterly disdainful of the Halls' more lurid practices. He initially refused to use the G6BH Chamber, claiming it was an abomination of the natural order of things. But after seeing HollowPoint cleaved in two, he quickly saw reason. It remains to be seen if the EMH Mark 1 will develop along the lines of his more famous "brother" into a more well-rounded "person".
