Fantastic Four

The first superteam to come out of Marvel Comics is also referred to as the "First Family of Comics" due to their close familial ties. The team is made up of Mr. Fantastic, his girlfriend and then wife Invisible Woman, her brother the Human Torch, and Mr. Fantastic's best friend, the Thing. They gained their powers when they were exposed to cosmic rays in outer space.
