Formerly Known as the Justice League is a miniseries by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis, illustrated by Kevin Maguire. It features several former members of the Justice League being brought back together by their original benefactor Max Lord to form his new superhero organization, the "Super Buddies". The book hearkened back to the original Justice League International sense of humor, and was a critical and commercial success.
