George Perez

George Perez is a veteran artist in the comic book industry, both as a penciller and as an inker. In the 1980s he was the artist on Justice League of America, the Avengers, Wonder Woman, and most notably The New Teen Titans, all during the peaks of their popularity. Perez's work was not seen as much during the 1990s, but he has since come back to work at DC Comics, where he has done both cover and interior work on Infinite Crisis and other titles, and he is illustrating the new volume of The Brave and the Bold being written by Mark Waid.

Perez's cover of Infinite Crisis #1 won the 2005 McCrea Award for Best Cover.
