Halls Cards

Collectible cards have been a recurring theme for the Halls, dating back to the days of Creation Matrix. Early on, Slovman created a parody of Magic: The Gathering featuring Creation Matrix themes and characters. Later, after the split of the Halls from CM, he created cards using the actual Magic: The Gathering template, again based on notable Hallsians and activities. In both cases, the cards were hidden in various places around the forums.
Eventually, Slovman reinvented the concept, ditching the rules text and game mechanics for image cards, similar to baseball cards. This new wave of Halls cards came in a much wider set, and became much more popular than either of the previous incarnations. It started with a set of 10 special edition cards, and then subsequent waves of both regular edition cards and special edition cards.
