Hysteria Falls

Hysteria Falls is the small island that neighbors Halls Isle. Originally founded by the Swiss as a center for genetic manipulation and research, it was abandoned by them when something went horribly wrong. However, no one is certain as to what this was, but the small town that sprung up around the facility supports the small populace that still inhabits the island.

The island features many interesting areas and unique features. There is the volcanic Mount Dawnstar, which while currently dormant has been known to periodically erupt without warning. This last happened in 2001. To the southwest of the volcano are the Markham Marshlands. This is home to much questionable fauna, including remnants of the genetic testing done by the Swiss so long ago. Some have rumored that the chickenraptors that inhabit Elektra Park may have originated from this area.

The best known areas in Hysteria Falls are the homesteads of the largest families, the Klepzigs and Bradshaws. These two families have been feuding for nearly 200 years, mostly over a large section of land that lies between their properties. Some have said that there are other reasons, which may or may not involve livestock, sexual relations, and a tractor accident - though not all at once, to the best of our knowledge. Recent times have encouraged a détente between the families, but these are often short-lived.

Slovman also claims to have a cousin that was born in Hysteria Falls, but they don't talk about him. Seriously, don't ask.
