An original member of the 4F Guild, Ianbaru has shown up sporadically since the Halls's days on Creation Matrix, sporting an avatar of Hawkeye. Ianbaru is noted for signing off with the line "Good night Wesley, most likely I'll kill you in the morning", from The Princess Bride. (To date, Wesley hasn't been killed.) But Ianbaru is most noted for his gift for word association, with posts that span from one topic through dozens of others before returning to the original concept.
Ianbaru's most recent appearance was during the third anniversary of the Halls website, where he declared that he wasn't doing word association lists anymore, not wanting to be known as a "one-trick pony".
