Identity Crisis

Identity Crisis was a DC Comics miniseries by writer Brad Meltzer and artist Rags Morales, centered primarily around the murder of Sue Dibny, wife of the Elongated Man, but also dealing with the memory wipes Zatanna and other members of the Justice League of America had performed on villains in the past. The series was one of the significant launching points for what would become Infinite Crisis, establishing a reason for villains to band together and for Batman to be paranoid.

The fourth issue, featuring Wonder Woman forming her lasso into a golden noose, took fourth place in the Battle of the Comics Covers.
