Joliet Jailhouse

Located near Elektra Park, Joliet Jailhouse is the intimidating and supposedly escape-proof prison in which Halls Isle criminals are thrown. However, it was most notably the site of the controversial Prison of Paranoia fiasco of October 2005 in which five wrongfully-accused Hallsians were jailed without trial and with little to no evidence of guilt. When the keys to their cells were tossed away by Chaomancer Omega, the only way they could be freed was by external force; Lantern Girl ripped the roof off the prison.
Quickly rebuilt, Joliet did not hold another inmate for more than a year until jonnie redbeard violated Amendment 22 by killing an otter. His stay was very short as Vin Diesel's Head, the court-appointed attorney, found a temporary loophole in the amendment, thus securing jonnie's release.
