July Experiment

The July Experiment of 2005 was an attempt to de-emphasize posting games like The Questions Game and the One Word Post Game and reconnect with the more involved surrealist nonsense that the Halls is founded on. The Experiment banned all posting games and the creation of new ones for the entire month, and while post counts certainly did go down, the "quality" of posts in the regular Halls of Hysteria thread went up. When August rolled in, two games were allowed to re-open, The Questions Game and The Connections Game, but a host of others were scrapped, likely for good.
