Kill Bill

Kill Bill is a set of two movies written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, starring Uma Thurman, David Carradine and Lucy Liu. It is a story of revenge, as "The Bride" (Thurman), a former assassin seeks to kill her former boss and lover, Bill (Carradine) and his group of assassins for massacring her wedding party, then shooting her in the head and leaving her for dead. The film is an incredibly violent homage to both samurai and western movies.

Kill Bill has been referenced several times in the Halls. The Halls Comic Cover Kill Twinky was a parody of the movie poster, with a green woman replacing "The Bride" and TwinkyMaster impaled on her sword. The main character, The Bride, was a fighter in the FUSUD, fighting for the Jade City Dragons. The main song from the first movie, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" was played on KHUH Radio and nominated for the Best Halls Song McCrea Award in 2005.
