Legion of Super-Heroes

The Legion of Super-Heroes is a group of young superheroes in the future (circa A.D. 3000), with each member having their own unique power. The Legion is typically led by Cosmic Boy or Brainiac 5, but there are several other significant members, including Lightning Lad, Light Lass, Dream Girl, and Supergirl (whose introduction to the title caused it to change its name to "Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes".) The current volume is written by Mark Waid and usually illustrated by Barry Kitson, who also assists in scripting the title. It won the 2005 McCrea Award for Best Mainstream Title and was a nominee for Best New Title as well.
