Although he started out as a lowly plumber, Luigi joined his brother Mario in many video game adventures on all the Nintendo systems, most notably in Super Mario Bros.. While Mario usually gets top billing, Luigi has the same powers and abilities, depending on which powerup he gets. He was drafted by the Ridge City Badgers in the FUSUD, but was replaced by the Black Knight. He has since retired from the league.
