A lurker is a member of the Halls who has signed up, and shows up frequently to read the site, but seldom, if ever, posts.

At most other forums, these types are usually ignored, but the Halls isn't most other forums. In 2006, a McCrea Award was presented to Rayn for Best Lurker.
