Mark Waid

A writer of comic books, Mark Waid had a popular run on Fantastic Four with Mike Wieringo before signing an exclusive contract with DC Comics. Since then he has written Legion of Super-Heroes with Barry Kitson and co-written 52. His Brave and the Bold relaunch, with George Perez, launched in February of 2007, for a run of twelve issues. He was recently named editor in chief of Boom! Studios.

Mark Waid also wrote Kingdom Come, which was the runner-up in the Battle of the Comic Book Storylines.
