Marvel Zombies

A 5-issue miniseries put out by Marvel comics, Marvel Zombies is set in an alternate universe where all the Marvel heroes and villains have been infected by a flesh-eating virus that turns them into zombies. The series was written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Sean Phillips, and is notable for zombified homages to classic covers painted by cover artist Arthur Suydam.

The miniseries had its fans on the Halls, as evidenced by it winning the Best Miniseries award in 2006.
