In January 2006, Slovman announced a year-long fishing tournament. Whichever Hallsian managed to pull the most fish out of Darkhawk Lake without losing them to either the Whammy or the Dreadnought would win a special prize at the end of the year. Oogie56 won the contest, with 1,140 fish, a little more than double that of the second-place contestant, TheRidge. As a reward, Oogie was presented with this badge, and a special fish, the Oogiefish was introduced into Darkhawk Lake. The contest for 2007 would be a question of who could catch the most Oogiefish without losing them.
