Michael Jackson is a pop musician whose career started in the 60s as a child, who became "the king of pop" in the 80s, and went absolutely batshit loco in the 90s, bleaching his skin, getting a lot of plastic surgery, and acquiring numerous accusations of improper behavior with young boys. His song Thriller was the #3 song in the Battle of the 80s Rock Songs, and more importantly to the Halls, a picture of him posing with E.T. is often used as an avatar by The superfly when he wishes to be especially disturbing.
