Mike Wieringo

Mike Wieringo was a comic book artist, known primarily for his runs on The Flash, Fantastic Four, and two separate Spider-Man titles. He was the artistic creator of Impulse during his Flash run, and his run on Fantastic Four with Mark Waid (his partner on The Flash as well) was one of the most acclaimed runs in recent history. He was noted for a clear dynamic style, and a sense of "fun" in his work, which he often signed 'Ringo. Mike Wieringo passed away of a heart attack on August 12, 2007, at the age of 44.
