Reed Richards is a scientist who took his best friend, his girlfriend, and her younger brother into space with him on a rocket ship, resulting in the four of them being bombarded with cosmic rays and being mutated. The four gained super-powers as a result, and became the Fantastic Four, with Richards taking the name Mr. Fantastic. He has the ability to stretch his body into any shape.
