The OH NOES!!1!! thread is unbridled surrealist jibberish at its very finest. First appearing on November 30th, 2005, the OH NOES!!1!! thread had over 300 replies in little more than a day. And despite its usually nonsensical and disjointed nature, it has spawned numerous characters and gags that have spread throughout the Halls, such as Legend the Prairie Dog, Bocephus the Singing Demon, Marsupial Clyde and the Banner of the Legendary Sword of Eternal Screaming Fluffy, which has essentially become the symbol of the thread. It went on to win the 2005 McCrea Award for B3st Thred Evar. It is now in its second volume and has slowed down quite a bit from its lightning-paced beginnings, but it is now hard to imagine the Halls without it.
