Probation

Probation is a status conferred on a member of the site who has repeatedly violated the rules. It is bestowed with the third warning, though extreme cases may warrant a member being put on probation earlier.

Being on Probation removes many standard Hallsian privileges, including the abilities to:

  • Edit one's own post
  • Edit one's own profile
  • Start new topics or polls
  • Email other users (though PMs may still be sent)
  • Access the Harems
  • Post to Hallsian-only forums
  • Post and vote in some Battles (particularly potentially-inflammatory ones)
  • Post and vote in the McCrea Awards

Additionally, a Probationary member is not eligible for the Best Hallsian or Best New Hallsian McCrea Award.

Being placed on Probation may be considered a sure sign that you had better either shape up or you will eventually face banning.
