Pumpkin Carving Contest

Around Halloween 2006, Chaomancer Omega began a contest to determine who was the best pumpkin carver on Halls Isle. Six entries appeared in the contest, and were voted on by the Hallsians. When that poll ended in a three-way tie, another poll was started to determine the winner. Bragging rights and the badge finally went to KilljoyBob. In 2007, the contest returned as an annual event, with Slovman's Optimus Prime pumpkin taking home the prize.

The Hallsians each submit a black-and-white image to Chaomancer Omega, who "carves" the pattern into a 3D pumpkin and renders it. The pumpkins are then voted on by the Hallsians. The winning pumpkin is turned into a badge for its owner, so each year produces a unique Pumpkin Carver Badge.
