Risk

Risk is a board game by Milton Bradley in which a slightly-abstracted map of the world is divided up amongst three or more factions of players. The players attempt to wipe each others' armies off the map in a process that can take hours, even days. Risk was a semi-finalist in the Battle of the Board Games.
