Secret War

This Marvel miniseries was written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Gabriele Dell'Otto. It concerns a secret invasion of Latveria orchestrated by Nick Fury and comprised of a handful of popular Marvel characters. The miniseries focused on the later repercussions of this Secret War.

The 5-issue miniseries was scheduled to be a quarterly miniseries, but fell greatly behind schedule, with the final issue shipping a full 10 months behind its originally planned ship date. Accordingly, it was awarded the Bermuda Triangle Special Achievement Award at the 2005 McCrea Awards Ceremony. Many Hallsians started out reading the title, but few, if any, bothered to pick up the final issue by the time it finally came out.
