Skeletor is the perennial enemy of He-Man in the Masters of the Universe cartoon and toyline. He is a powerful sorcerer and thoroughly evil, and employs numerous henchmen in his goal to conquer Eternia. So far he has always failed, but it has always been due to the direct interference of He-Man. As time goes on, Skeletor acts more and more put-upon due to his need to rely on usually-idiotic assistants and the sheer improbability that often precedes He-Man's victories.
Skeletor killed Spikor on the Halls and took his place for a time before wandering off himself. Later, he showed up as a fighter for the Lost Grove Spiders in the FUSUD, replacing the disintegrated Black Manta. Currently he is a free agent. Will he be reselected at some point? Will he surface elsewhere? Or will he just brood and sulk in Snake Mountain?
