Sovereignty Day

In 2005, after the Hallsians worked to clean after the destruction caused by Zero Halls, Quinnbot discovered ancient manuscripts buried in the rubble that indicated that Halls Isle had once been ruled by the Swiss. According to the documents, the ancestors of the Hallsians revolted against the Swiss with the help of benevolent Martians and the magic of an early Chaomancer.

On September 29th, the anniversary of the victory over the Swiss, the Hallsians come together to celebrate Sovereignty Day. The festivities include a large feast provided by many of the restaurants in Stovehaven, and a fishing contest where participants cast their lines into Darkhawk Lake and attempt to catch the most Swiss Fish. The winner earns the aptly named Sovereignty Day Fishing Tournament Champion Badge.
