Star Trek

A television and film franchise created by Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek follows the crews of several Starfleet ships in their ongoing mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before. The first series, simply titled "Star Trek," featured the crew of the USS Enterprise led by Captain Kirk. Subsequent shows were set several years later, starting with "Star Trek: The Next Generation," which featured an Enterprise captained by Captain Picard, which led to "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" which took place aboard a spacestation, and "Star Trek: Voyager" which followed the adventures of a crew lost in uncharted space and attempting to find their way home. The most recent series was entitled "Enterprise" and was a prequel of all previous series and films.
