The Beatles are the most famous and popular rock band of all time. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr made up the line-up, and the band's two-decade career featured a very large selection of albums and songs. Three of their albums were nominated in the Battle of the Albums, and three of their songs were in the Battle of the 60s Rock Songs; one of those songs, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, took third place.
