Flash

The mantle of the Flash in DC Comics has been held by several people over the years, but is always applied to a hero who has superspeed. All but the first have some relation to each other, and the original, Jay Garrick, maintains close ties with his namesakes. Though it is often restarted and renumbered (and occasionally renamed), there has been a Flash series almost continuously since the beginning of the Silver Age.
